Writing role playing games have been using this practice since story-based role playing came into existence. In these RPG's, a writer will create their own character by mapping out a profile or character sketch. While everyone's idea of an RPG profile can vary, it generally carries the same basic elements universally.
To create a character sketch, copy/paste the fields below and fill them in to build your character.
- Eye Color
- Hair Color/Length
- Physical Attributes (any special characteristics like tattoos, piercings, scars, muscle build, etc.)
- Family/Friend History (listing names and ages of parents, siblings, close friends, etc. that have a close relationship with your MC. You can also use this space to list any special relationship quirks that your MC may have with a particular person. For example, maybe your MC and the brother have nicknames they call each other.)
- History (a short run down of your MC's past)
- Personality (here you can dig deep into your character's personality, how he reacts, his temperament, and his quirks.)
